Los Angeles, CA, 19 February 2026 – SimpleMDG, a no-code master data governance solution on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), announced today that it is one of the finalists for the Digital/Cloud Transformation Project of the Year at SAPinsider 2026. This award honors SAP projects that deliver clear business results, accelerate cloud adoption, and support digital transformation.
The project was completed for Florida Crystals, a leading U.S. consumer packaged goods company with a complex SAP system. The company’s previous master data governance system was difficult to use, slow to search, expensive to customize, and hard to scale. Their governance needs had expanded to include seven domains: Materials, Bills of Materials, Suppliers, Customers, Banks, General Ledger Accounts, and Plant data.
With SimpleMDG, Florida Crystal completed a five-month transformation, moving from a highly customized SAP MDG setup to a no-code master data governance platform on SAP BTP. The new solution connects directly with SAP S/4HANA and OpenText while maintaining interoperability with non-SAP systems across the broader enterprise landscape.
The program established unified, enterprise-level governance for over 915,000 master data records. Proven results include:

Along with these results, the change enabled Florida Crystals’ data team to add new data types on their own using simple settings, without needing custom coding or outside help. The cloud-based system enabled faster update deployments, followed SAP Clean Core guidelines, and laid a solid foundation for data analysis and AI projects.
